What To Expect:
Lots of rain, turning the valleys green and vibrant.
Temperatures ranging from 15 degrees Celsius to 25 degrees Celsius.
If the waterfalls and rivers are spilling out- looks spectacular but may not be safe.
The trail experience is nicer, as you will find fewer other visitors on the trail in some of the most popular spots.
Travel is possible but there is a risk of landslides so keep your travel plans loose and be careful when traveling.
Great opportunity to explore Kinnaur and Tirthan Valley, conditions allowing.
Oct–Mar
Off Season (Wonders of Winter)
What To Expect:
Cold temperatures can drop to -5 degrees Celsius or worse at the higher elevations.
Snowfall in Manali, Kufri, Narkanda, and surrounding hill stations.
The chance to ski, snowboard, and spend cozy time in the beautiful snow, surrounded by spectacular mountains.
Few other visitors resulted in a very peaceful experience.
Although the most remote areas will be closed, and some of the higher passes difficult to reach due to snow.
Christmas and New Year's will attract a lot of visitors, so plan ahead if you want to visit during these holidays.
